1. How long will it take for me to get my order?

Most orders are processed and shipped within 2 to 5 business days of when they are received at our Connecticut location. Please note that sometimes orders of 10+ cuts of fabric may take somewhat longer to process..

All domestic orders from .25 yard to 20 yards are shipped insured via US Postal Service Priority Mail or United Parcel Service (which we use primarily for fabric orders of 20+ yards). The Post Office says Priority Mail packages ‘should’ take an average of 2-3 days to reach anyone in the Continental United States; we’ve found that to be true in most cases.

UPS Ground deliveries can take up to 8 days from our East coast location to the West coast. If we ship your package via UPS, we will be happy to provide you with your UPS tracking number so you can follow it’s progress (via internet or by phone) to your door… please just let us know if you would like your tracking number and we’ll e-mail it to you!

If you need your order shipped overnight, please call us (1-877-ELKAFAB) to make arrangements.

2. I’m in a real rush – can I get my fabric shipped for next day delivery?

Yes, we can ship your order via Fedex or UPS next day delivery; please contact us to make arrangements and to get a quote for cost to your location (in the U.S. only).

3. How much is shipping?

We ship using US Priority Mail for domestic orders from .25 yard to 20 yards, (non-flannel fabric) and via United Parcel Service for orders over 20 yards of non-flannel fabric. All orders are shipped insured. The shopping cart program we use at Fabric Paradise is based upon the number of yards you order. Here’s a general idea of shipping charges for domestic packages:

Up to 1 yard:	$5.30
1+ to 2 yards:	$5.75
2+ to 3 yards:	$5.75
3+ to 5 yards:	$7.00
5+ to 6 yards:	$7.50
6+ to 7 yards:	$11.00
7+ to 8 yards:	$13.50
8+ to 9 yards:	$13.50
9+ to 10 yards:	$13.50
10+ to 13 yards:	$14.00
13+ to 15 yards:	$14.50
... and so on

For shipping charges on orders of over 25 yards, cost is figured on a 'per order' basis. Please contact us so we can give you an accurate quote.

4. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, all the time! Orders of eight or less yards of non-flannel fabric (or FOUR yards or less of flannel) are sent via US Global Priority Mail, which unfortunately does NOT offer insurance. We are not responsible for duty, customs or other fees that may apply. Please note that some countries are not part of the Global Priority Mail system and must be shipped via another method; please contact us directly if this applies to you so we can make other arrangements.

Rates vary by country and yardage ordered. The easiest way to determine your shipping cost to countries outside the US is to complete your shopping cart and then click on the “shipping option” bar to see the cost for your location. Please email (Elka@FabricParadise.com) or call us (1-860-243-8881) with any questions you may have regarding shipping costs to your country for larger quantities. For international orders over eight yards of cotton, or over four yards of flannel, please email or phone us for shipping rates. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND TAXES THAT APPLY AT YOUR LOCATION.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO OUR CUSTOMERS IN ITALY AND PORTUGAL: Due to recent delivery problems we've experienced in shipping to Portugal and Italy, it is our policy to ship to these countries using ONLY trackable, insurable methods. Therefore, we cannot use Global Priority flat-rate envelopes. We can ship using International Express Mail (which is insurable and trackable) at a cost of US$30.00 per envelope, which holds a maximum of 8 yards of non-flannel cotton fabric. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this situation - unfortunately, it is outside of our control.

PLEASE NOTE: For overseas orders over 16 yards, it is our policy to ONLY ship using trackable, insurable methods – for your protection as well as ours.
