- How long will it take for me to get my order?
Currently, most orders are processed and shipped within 1 to 3 business days of when they are received at our Connecticut location. Orders received on weekends, holidays or after 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time are processed the following business day. Please note that sometimes orders of 10+ cuts of fabric may take somewhat longer to process. - All domestic orders from .5 yard to 20 yards are shipped insured via US Postal Service Priority Mail or United Parcel Service (which we use primarily for fabric orders of 20+ yards). The Post Office says Priority Mail packages 'should' take an average of 2-3 days to reach anyone in the Continental United States; we've found that to be true in most cases.
- Once we ship your order, you will receive an email from USPS.com (or UPS.com) with tracking information for your reference.
UPS Ground deliveries can take up to 8 days from our East coast location to the West coast. If we ship your package via UPS, we will be happy to provide you with your UPS tracking number so you can follow it's progress (via internet or by phone) to your door. - I'm in a real rush -- can I get my fabric shipped for next day delivery?
Yes, we can ship your order via Fedex or UPS next day delivery; please contact us to make arrangements and to get a quote for cost to your location (in the U.S. only). I live locally (near Bloomfield, Connecticut); can I pick up my order to save on shipping?
Yes, we can arrange for contactless pickup! Just give us a call at 860-243-8881 before ordering to make arrangements.
How much is shipping? We ship using US First Class Mail for domestic orders from .5 yard to 2 yards, and US Priority Mail for domestic orders from 2+ yards to 20 yards(non-flannel fabric) and via United Parcel Service or Fedex for orders over 20 yards of non-flannel fabric. All orders are shipped insured. The shopping cart program we use at Fabric Paradise is based upon the number of yards you order. Here's a general idea of shipping charges for domestic packages:

1.5+ yards to 2 yards: $6.95
2+ to 4 yards: $8.50
4+ to 8 yards: $9.25

11+ to 18 yards: $17.50
... and so on
For shipping charges on orders of over 25 yards, cost is figured on a 'per order' basis. Please contact us so we can give you an accurate quote.
- Do you ship internationally?
Yes, all the time! International orders of eight or less yards of non-flannel fabric (or FOUR yards or less of flannel) are sent via US Postal Service International Flat Rate Priority Mail, which unfortunately does NOT offer insurance OR tracking. We are not responsible for duty, customs or other fees that may apply. Please note that some countries are not part of the Global Priority Mail system and must be shipped via another method; please contact us directly if this applies to you so we can make other arrangements.
Rates vary by country and yardage ordered. The easiest way to determine your shipping cost to countries outside the US is to complete your shopping cart and then click on the "shipping option" bar to see the cost for your location. For shipping charges on international orders of over 16 yards, cost is figured on a 'per order' basis. We may use either USPS, Fedex, UPS or DHL, at our discretion.
